47100 heads towards London on the through line with cement tanks, after earlier heading east: I presume to Theale. Reading saw a lot of freight traffic according to my own experiences, and that, coupled with a constant stream of West Country and Cross Country passenger services, all in the hands of locomotives, made this a must-do hot spot for watching trains.
