Large-logo Class 47 no. 47452 passes through with a London-bound parcels train. This locomotive is lucky to have survived, having being involved in a spectacular train crash at Morpeth on the ECML in 1984. Excessive speed caused the train to derail and the loco rolled onto its side: 90mph on 50mph-limited curve! Fortunately no one was killed.
