The GWR 150 celebrations are behind it, but Class 47/4 no. 47628 "Sir Daniel Gooch" is still smartly presented in its lined green with brass number and nameplates. It arrives at Reading with the local 10.55 Oxford to London Paddington service. The original Western Region "namer" no, 47078, no. 47628 would be scrapped in 2006.
