Standing at platform 8 is Trainload Railfreight class 37/7 no. 37709, in the correct Pertroleum livery, working a Thamesside to Southampton oil tank train. I've not visited Reading station since it has been rebuilt, but I am quite certain that the view has changed from this beyond all recognition.
