Class 47/4 no. 47603 "County of Somerset" arrives on the 10.38 Poole to Newcastle cross country service. I didn't take note at the time, but the loco may have run-round as it would need to go back west as far as Didcot and take the route north towards Oxford. If not, then another Class 47 would have been added at the rear of the train and no. 47603 would stay behind.
