19th Nov 2005 - Rhymney branch, Gwent
(2) 37405 is seen further down the line from the previous image at Pontlottyn, on the 2F26 12.14 Rhymney to Cardiff Central, passing fields containing ponies grazing in the short grass at 12.23. These beasts will be hardy animals, braving the harsh wind, rain and cold at times. But surely better here than being incarcerated down a coal mine, as possibly their predecessors would have had to endure.
