BR green Class 37 no. 37411 is slowly approaching Ystrad Mynach station at 08.26 on the 2F08 08.01 Rhymney to Cardiff Central service. It happened to be a lovely day up in the valleys today, so the decision to do the 2 hour drive from home to catch some English Electric traction action paid off! The signal post on the left reminds us that much of the route was still controlled by traditional semaphore signalling at the time.
