A bit of bovine company for me this morning to watch the Network Rail New Measurement Train head west at 08.38. Ex-LNER HST power car no. 43299 leads the 1Q23 05.56 Reading to Salisbury via Exeter St. Davids over the new culvert at Broom Junction, just west of Chard Junction. In the distance there are a group of glamping huts at Lower Keats Farm, Tytherleigh. The video of the train going by was a bit of fun - the cows getting a little too close by the fence slightly blocking the view! I wouldn't have minded were it not for the flies they brought with them....
