(1) At 08.03 the Network Rail/Serco test train has arrived at Chard and is in the loop, to cross with service trains. The train would wait here for an hour before heading west. DRS Class 37 no. 37605 is seen framed by the level crossing lights and warning signs, plus a bit of the old Southern Railway spear fencing in the foreground. The train is the 1Z14 06.14 Salisbury Carriage Sidings to Salisbury, via Exeter St. Davids. It will come back this way later in the morning, but I've got to leave for work!
