Heading into the low winter sun, First Great Western's 1C82 10.05 London Paddington to Penzance service heads west at 13.29. The shot is taken next to the A35 town bypass. Power car no. 43033 "Driver Brian Cooper 15 June 1947-5 October 1999" leads the train, with out-of-sight no. 43091 at the rear. Engineering works on the GWR mainline brought some welcome and interesting traffic to "The Mule" this Christmas holiday.
