East of the station, at Cloakham, Class 50 no. 50026 "Indomitable" passes a field of grazing cows on the 14.10 London Waterloo to Exeter St. Davids. You can't get more bucolic than that really. I would often walk out this way in the evening, when the light was on the right side of the line.
