28th Jan 1984

It must have been very crisp day, with clear blue skies and not a cloud in sight. 50004 "St. Vincent" pulls away from the station with the 09.10 London Waterloo to Exeter St. Davids service, passing the remains of the goods yard on the right, and the trackbed of the Lyme Regis branch to the left. Of course, this has all changed now, with the up line reinstated in 2010, along with the rebuilding and reopening of the platform, and the old goods yard now houses an extended car park, and farmers' supply business Mole Avon.
