Whilst the 1C76 09.03 London Paddington to Plymouth service waited in the loop, the 1L40 10.13 Exeter St. Davids to London Waterloo train was allowed to shoot through non-stop at 11.11, formed by South Western Railway Class 159s nos. 159106 and 159007. HST power car no. 43189 is on the rear of the Plymouth train.
