Network Rail's "New Measurement Train" shoots through Chard Junction on the main at 08.37 as 1Q23 04.56 Old Oak Common - Salisbury, via Exeter. Just 9 days ago I shot this very same unit climbing Shap at Scout Green. It gets around! Although this train operates over "The Mule" on a fairly regular basis (every 2-3 months I think) this is the first time I have had the opportunity to photograph it on my own line.
