I was curious about the Fugro Railmap equipment being used to survey the lines around the UK, so when I realised that Colas Rail was running a 66 on our line carrying this equipment I was keen to see it. Here 66848 arrives at Chard Junction 10.35 on its way back from Exeter St. Davids. The train is running as 0Q01 05.08 Eastleigh East Yard - Eastleigh East Yard (via Exeter) and was crewed by a Westbury-based driver. It stopped here for around half an hour waiting for an Exeter train to pass.
