(1) This is the only time I ever captured a Southern Region DEMU at Westbury - at 12.35 Class 205 no. 205033, wearing Network South East colours, is seen departing with a Bristol to Southampton service. These "Thumper" units looked after service son this route after the end of loco-hauled trains and before the dreaded Sprinters took over. Seeing is this is my one and only shot of a Thumper here, I have also included the going away shot.....
