The location for this shot is a farm occupation bridge just west of the station, a location that I visited fairly recently only to find it was almost completely overgrown! The white horse of Westbury looks down on Foster Yeoman 59001 "Yeoman Endeavour" as it heads east with a stone train from Merehead to Theale. The wagons were short-lived, being manufactured with aluminium bodies, but nowhere near robust enough for the traffic, and they soon buckled and bent.
Moments later, just as it disappeared around the corner, a westbound train appeared....
