It's such a nice day for shooting loc-hauled trains on the Southern route around my home town. Walking out to Cloakham and beyond I capture NSE-liveried Class 47/4 no. 47579 "James Nightall G. C.", named after one of the WWII Soham railwayman heroes. This is the 13.15 London Waterloo to Exeter St. Davids service, passing a very calm River Axe, meandering through the fields.
