Class 47/8s nos. 47847 and 47815 "Great Western" have stopped at Temple Meads of 15 minutes or so on their way north to York. They're captured in the sun at 08.20. This is the 1Z30 05.55 Minehead to York "The Eternal City of York" Merrymaker railtour operated by Hertfordshire Railtours. I'm jumped out for a leg stretch and a photo before getting back on board for the rest of the journey. It was a great day out and weather stayed fine all the time!
