Heading away from me at 15.10, at Axe Gates, Waggs Plot, a pair of South Western Railway Class 159s, no. 159019 being the end unit, cross the culvert with the 1L56 14.25 Exeter St. Davids to Basingstoke. A lovely spell of winter sun today (with a handful of sudden wintry showers thrown in for fun!). Most trains had been cancelled on this line on the previous day, thanks to flooding near Axminster.
