Virgin Valentas! This Virgin Cross Country HST working is heading to Cardiff, lead by power car 43098 "railwaychildren", pausing at platform 2 at 12.28. Whatever you may think of Virgin as a train company, the one that brought us the "Voyager", at least the livery first introduced on HSTs and locomotives was pretty stylish. Cross Country services operated by HSTs have since ended in South Wales, replaced by an inferior Class 170 Nottingham to Cardiff ordeal.
