Broadside portrait of a Valenta-powered Virgin Cross Country HST power car. 43089 is on the front of a Cardiff-bound train from the north, stopped at platform 2 at 12.33. This unit went on to work on the Midland Mainline. Writing this at the end of 2019 it was recently revealed that this unit, along with 43048, would be donated to the 125 Group for preservation by owner Porterbrook.
