As Class 508102 waits to return to Southport (on the right), Class 150/1 no. 150148 pulls into Hunts Cross station with the 11.55 Liverpool Lime Street to Warrington Central service, a train that Spencer and I would take to Warrington. The station building can be seen on the left, at street level. Hunts Cross is the southern terminus of the Meeseyrail Northern Line. The third rail ends here.
