Merseyrail network, Merseyside

I've been a bit lazy here and classifying everything within this busy urban network under one portfolio. This strikes me as being a very efficient and well run commuter network serving the good people of Liverpool and its environs. Outside of the old Southern Region it is the only place in the UK where commuter trains are operated on the third rail 750vDC system. Even some of the trains are ex-Southern Region!
