Stepping outside I took this view of the station frontage, complete with a British Rail Bedford van outside. This tour of the Merseyrail network with my friend Spencer fulfilled a long-held ambition to cover the lines of a very unfamiliar part of the BR network. We had great weather for the whole week and bagged the majority of routes, including others around Lancashire.
