Yeoford: Wearing the former Northern Spirit blue and gold livery, with First Great Western branding, pioneer Class 142 DMU no. 142001 arrives at Yeoford at 12.26 on a train from Barnstaple. This unit would have originally worked in the west country when first introduced. But after the "Skippers" were rejected after being deemed unsuitable for the winding Devon and Cornwall branch lines, it was transferred to a new life in the north. Now it is back, for now! The unit would later be transferred back north, working for Northern (Arriva Rail North).
