Charter trains are far and few between on this route, but they do turn up occasionally! At 13.54 EWS Class 67 no. 67020 draws "The Cathedrals Express" into the loop at Chard Junction to allow a London train to pass. This was meant to be steam hauled but the booked loco failed (I didn't note which one it should have been) so I guess the mood inside the train was somewhat subdued!

This is the 1Z92 09.20 London Waterloo to Exeter St. Davids, and the train paused here for 18 minutes before heading on westwards, leaving the sheep to rest in peace for a little while longer.
