Lovely evening sunlight on this late spring day, as 50007 "Sir Edward Elgar" approaches the level crossing at Axe Gates on the 16.55 London Waterloo to Exeter St. Davids. Knowing that the fifties were soon to be taken out of service, I made the most of every opportunity to get out to phograph them, even after work if necessary. Evenings such as this made it all the more worthwhile!
