The "East Devon Express" - 1Z63 11.10 Salisbury to Axminster, with South West Trains Class 158 no. 158881 forming the train. This is the train bringing SWT officials and local town dignitaries together to celebrate the opening of the dynamic loop. The first day of the new timetable would start on the 13th. None of us would ever believe that this could ever happen - but it did, and now we look forward to the rest of the Southern Railway main line to the west - the true main line from London to Exeter - be restored to its original glory!
