"The early bird....". At 07.10 EWS Class 66 no. 66015 is hauling stored Class 37/5s nos. 37509 and 37675, taking the Romsey line towards Westbury and beyond. I was not aware of the final destination but could guess Toton, Nottinghamshire. They were being reactivated for Sandite use in the autumn. Prior to this they had been trashed to within a whisker of their lives along with other Class 37s, working on infrastructure trains in France.
