The water tower is out to good effect by the Didcot Railway Centre. In front is EWS Class 66 no. 66224 stabled on an engineering train, and pilot Class 08 no. 08804 resting between duties.
No. 66224 is still in service with DB Cargo in the UK despite most of the series numbered above 66200 being located abroad. No. 08804 is owned by Harry Needle Railroad Company and recently located at the East Kent Railway.
