During this period of transition from a nationalised system to a private railway there were all manner of livery variations on locomotives. 60070 "John Loudon McAdam" still wears the BR Railfreight colours but has the "Loadhaul" branding on the side, but was now in private EWS ownership! It's seen here parked up with others alongside the station, a regular stabling point for locomotives in between duties. Over at the Railway Centre can be seen ex-GWR Large Prairie tank no. 4144.
