Thames Trains. Who? This company operated the franchise on suburban routes out of London Paddington between 1996 and 2004, before being absorbed into the Greater Western Railway franchise. Hard to imagine then that this is history we are looking at! 166209 and 166210 are on London Paddington to Stratford-Upon-Avon service pausing at the platform at 14.38, long enough to enable me to take the photo.
