Ex-LMS "Jinty" 0-6-0 no. 47493 has run around and is getting ready for the next service up the line. The station building at Cranmore is nicely restored and a delight to visit. BR still operated bitumen trains into the sidings behind the station until recently at the time of this photo, but as this traffic had ended the heritage railway were able to use the station platform, previously being restricted to a platform situated near the goods shed.
