A trip out on the DMU and here we are at a leafy Mendip Vale halt at the end of the line. There is nowhere to go other than get back on the train! This is the 14.45 round trip out and back from Cranmore.
The DMU was previously located at Midsomer Norton, and is now owned by a consortium of local enthusiasts and mainline drivers, and is steadily being brought up to a high standard of presentation. Indeed, despite the apparent tatty exterior the interior is looking very smart, with more to do. 2019 should see it emerge in a new livery. At least, on one of the cars.
Meanwhile, the operating crew consult the timetable to ascertain when and where they are heading! Notice that they also have a bit of fun with the destinations!
