Ivatt 2-6-0 no. 46447 has arrived on the 14.00 service from Mendip Vale and is now running past the stock light engine, to stable alongside the signal box.
A new platform is being built in preparation for the extended service towards Merehead. The platform shelter will apparently be the venue for an interpretation centre.
The end coach is S1000S, a unique fibreglass-bodied coach built by BR, using, so I understand, a Mark I underframe from a recovered coach that was involved in the terrible Lewisham train crash of 1957.
