There are plenty of exhibits representing various items of rolling stock at the museum. American Refrigerator Transit car #62461 has an insulated wooden body on a steel frame. Bunkers at either end can carry 5 tons of ice to keep the contents cool in summer, or be fitted with heaters in winter to stop the contents freezing! This car arrived at the museum in 1958.
