There's no mistaking what we have here: Union Pacific "Big Boy"! Of the 25 4-8-8-4 engines in this class, built between 1941 and 1944, #4006 accumulated the most mileage, managing to rack up 1,064,625 miles in the 18-19 years that it operated. Of course, sister #4014 is now operating and has run on the UP main line since 2019. But for #4006 it's retirement in Missouri!
