At 14.21 Freightliner Class 66 no. 66619 "Derek W Johnson MBE" heads away from the down yard with the 7V16 11.56 Fareham to Whatley Quarry empties. Above the white horse there are a number of paragliders launching from Bratton Downs.

I, and a number of others, were waiting for the Colas Rail-operated ex-East Midlands HST power-car-powered Network Rail test train, but it seemed to have a problem at Westbury station and never appeared. What a shame.
