The Open Day at Merehead is over and we're all heading for home. And so are these three EWS locomotives, nos. 66001, 59201 and 58050. After pausing in the station the entourage, lead by the Class 66, head towards London at 18.00. With 66001 debuting at the open day this was, of course, the first time I had seen a Class 66 under power and on the move. I'd have to get used to seeing plenty of these locomotives in the years to come!
