66239, having just arrived light engine from Cardiff Canton at 18.48, sits in the evening sun, and I could not resist this appealing broadside shot. The Alexandra Dock branch can be seen curving away in the background.
The EWS livery looked very smart in those earlier days, but would later dull down and look very drab as time went on. 66239 is another loco now exiled in France.
