Just a few minutes behind a loaded coal train, at 15.36, 60092 “Reginald Munns” heads for Llanwern with a heavy, loaded iron ore train from Port Talbot. The steel works needed a constant supply of coal and ore for production, and trains plied this route continuously with both minerals around the clock. If you saw no other trains you could always count on coal and iron ore on the South Wales Main Line!
