Doing what it was originally acquired for, EWS Class 67 no. 67003 heads past the freight yard at 15.48 with the 5B09 14.33 Bristol Barton Hill to Cardiff empty mail train. Waiting behind in the yard is Class 60 no. 60076 with a Wembley, London-bound “Enterprise” freight service, departure due at 16.46. I’m standing on the bank of land behind McDonalds, with a good view either way of this busy four-track main line.
