(1): This was a remarkable sequence of events, starting at 18.48, a great example of being in the right place at the right time! Not an occurrence that I often find myself in! This, and the next 2 shots capture everything that happened.
EWS Class 60 no. 60003 “Freight Transport Association”, on the 6M80 17.50 Margam to Wolverhampton Steel Terminal loaded steel train, overtakes Freightliner’s 66504 on the 4S81 18.20 Pengam to Coatbridge Freightliner intermodal service. You don’t often two freight trains running side by side. As these two trains passed me by the action continued....
