Virgin Class 47 no. 47829 is heading a southbound train to Poole, non-stop through the station, at 17.03. By this time in the afternoon the sun has moved around to the west side of the lines, and the loco is looking good, well lit in the late afternoon spring sunshine.

In 2002 the loco was repainted into a rather odd Police livery, and eventually met its end at Booth's scrapyard, Rotherham in 2013.
