BR Britannia class pacific no. 70000 "Britannia", plus ex-Southern Railway S15 no. 828, coupled together and moving light engines, paused by the signal box to receive instructions from the signalman, who is regulating movements with flags. This view has changed since these photos, the main one being the abolition and demolition of the signal box. The Yeovil Railway Festival was a great event, with wonderful weather and a superb line-up.
