(1) I recall this being a lucky find, turning up without any prior knowledge only to find Class 37 no. 37221 shunting engineers stock in the station. I think, actually, that this would have been a regular working from Bristol, to serve the spoil sidings over by the signal box, sidings that always seemed to be full of wagons. This shot shows 37221 with its train, standing alongside the old down platform, now out of use and disconnected from the main station.
