Large logo Class 50 no. 50050 "Fearless" arrives at Yeovil Junction with an unknown London Water to Exeter St. Davids service. This loco would spend a few years under restoration at the Yeovil Steam Centre before being sold on and returned to the main line. But this was years ahead at this time. Right now it was business as usual.

Permanent way department sidings, signal box, semaphores on the Pen Mill line, wooden-bodied engineers wagons, and probably that scissors crossing: all gone!
