33025 "Sultan" is being propelled through the up platform by 47245, the Class 33 having failed on the 14.10 London Waterloo to Yeovil Junction service. I don't recall now, but I assume that 33025 was dumped in a siding and the '47 took care of the return service. Yeovil Junction has not changed much in the 35 years since I took this photo. The footbridge remains in use and the car park on the right is always busy, but not full of classic cars like those seen here!
