3rd April 2005

Parked up outside the then-EWS crew office and signing-on point, Class 59 no. 59206 "Pride of Ferrybridge" rests peacefully on this sunny spring Sunday. Class 59s will always be associated with Westbury and the Mendip quarries, although, of course, this locomotive started life working for National Power hauling limestone and coal in Yorkshire and around the Peak District.
